Hi misswhite,
Can you tell me a little bit about your approach to the
RC passages? Also, do you know if you are having more trouble with the general type questions (main idea, tone) versus the specific questions?
For general questions, I always emphasize practice in how you read the passage. It is important to be able to condense the passage to its most important points, which often means ignoring the confusing details, but paying attention to things like transitional sentences.
Specific questions I tend to approach more like a
CR question - make sure and stay within the scope of the passage, or paragraph as it often is.
If you want to expand on your approach and the types of problems that are giving you trouble, I'd be happy to offer some advice. Also, I am teaching a 5-day verbal crash course starting tomorrow (Monday) that starts each weekday at 8 pm eastern time.
