(1) x(x + 100) = 10,000
(2) y(y + 1) = 1

whether X*X*Y=(1-X)Y - ?
here we can move out Y from both sides of the equation and the only required variable is X
X*X=1-X -?

the first equation, x(x + 100) = 10,000 , provides us with the only one possible positive value of X (two roots, but only one is positive)
Thus after we find this number we can answer whether it's equal or not

1 is enough

2nd doesn't provide us with the value of X and we can nothing infer from it
