If x and y are integers, is x + y divisible by 6 ?

Is the Ans C

1) X is divisible by 6 -> Lets assume X=6K

so X+Y can be of any values like 6K+1 non divisible by 6 or 6K+6 divisible by 6. Since we dont know the value of Y INSUFFICIENT.

2) Y is divisible by 6 -> Lets assume Y=6M

so X+Y can be any values like 1+6M non divisible by 6 or 6+6K divisible by 6 since we dont know the value of X INSUFFICIENT.

combininig 1 and X+Y -> 6K+6M -> 6(K+M) which is divisible by 6 -> SUFFICIENT

Hence Ans is C
