DS:Equation

what is the value of x ?
1.(x+2)(x+3)=0
2.x^2+5x+6=0
from equation 1 we can say x =-2 or x=-3
from a DS qstn point of view, isn't the equation 1 enough to know the value of x ?

A) x has two values: -2, -3 .. ns
B) x has two v alues -2, -3 ...ns
combined .. ns
