    Explain..


    What is the value of
    (x - y)^4?
    (1) The product of x and y is 7.
    (2) x and y are integers.
    A. Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.
    B. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.
    C. BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient.
    D. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.
    E. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient

    Ans should be C
    xy =7 and we know that 7 is prime number
    2 says xy are integers so x and y is either 1 7 or 7 1 and since (x-y)^4 is asked ans will be same ( for x=1 y =7 or y =1 or x =1)
